Illuminage Group Hawaii brings innovation, technology and creativity to Hawaii. We specialize in creating custom turnkey displays and high quality commercial grade products. We provide all aspects of the process from design, products and installation and use high quality LED products for decorative, commercial, industrial and residential use.  We ONLY use LED.

Aloha! I am Marina Nishimura. My family have been in the LED industry in Japan for over 20 years and started from selling illuminated home decorations then transitioned to wholesale custom designed LED products such as the LED fans for concerts for Japanese artists to souvenir products for Universal Studios Japan and also custom designed and installed illumination events.

In 2011, in the wake of the Northern Japan Earthquake, my father wanted to give hope and give light to the victims of Northern Japan earthquake. My father started his first Illuminage event in Kobe, a city that has recovered from the devastating Hanshin Earthquake in 1995 and started the Hiwamari “Sunflower” Project to help the people in Northern Japan. A portion of the proceeds went to the victims up North, all earthquake victims were invited to come to the Kobe event and our visitors made cards and notes that we gave to the Northern community. Giving back to the community means a lot of our family, my mother always told us “You can’t just take, you need to give back.”

About Hawaii –

Not only did my father attend University of Hawaii but also met my mother here. He wanted to create something special and unique that the local community can enjoy! We hope that you have enjoyed some of our projects! Our commercial decorative projects can be seen at Central Pacific Bank downtown and Bank of Hawaii downtown during the holiday season as well as permanent year round lighting of their Banyan trees at Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the Moana Surfrider Hotel. Our custom neon signs can be seen at restaurants, stores as well as for wedding accent pieces!

Our commercial projects are not visually exciting but we’re so happy we can help local businesses save energy consumption and help reduce their overhead costs. Most of our customers will see at least an 50% in savings and some projects can have a rate of return of less than 1 year! As part of being one of the Clean Energy Ally member at Hawaii Energy, we have been fortunate to have helped restaurants and businesses such as Harry’s Café, Panda Express, Alexander and Baldwin, Mercedes Benz and Times Supermarket.
